T20 star Chris Lynn says he found out about his omission from the Australian team via social media, slamming Cricket Australia for poor communication.
Lynn was left out of the Australian squad for this summer, which was viewed as a pointer to in-contention players for the ICC T20 World Cup in Melbourne next year. The squad will play three matches against Sri Lanka and then Pakistan in the next fortnight.
Lynn - a T20 staple for Australia recently, though missing from its latest matches in India - was miffed not to get a phone call. He also took issue with chief selector Trevor Hohns claiming that he had not played enough cricket in Australia recently; feeling that the reasoning was inconsistent when applied to other players.
