Coronavirus: David Jones speeding up Australian store closure plans as sales plummet

David Jones is accelerating Australian store closure plans after COVID-19 sliced through profits. Sales dropped by more than one-third in the eight weeks leading to the end of April. An update provided by Woolworths Holdings Limited and provided to 9News shows that "COVID-19 has had a significant impact on (customer) foot traffic and store sales" in recent weeks.
